We gently begin the preschool adventure by introducing group rules and encouraging independence. This is when the first project-based activities take place. Children explore the world with all their senses—smelling, tasting, touching, and listening—all through play.
Our program includes sensory art classes, music lessons inspired by Gordon’s approach, ecology workshops with animals, and plenty of dancing and movement.
Our 3-year-old group begins following the Ministry of Education’s core curriculum, enhanced with the innovative Creative Problem Solving approach. Through project work, children use creative heuristics like brainstorming and the priority pyramid.
Classes are enriched with drama workshops, acrobatics, karate, and pottery. We emphasize teamwork, often working in small groups of 2–3 children. Our goal is to nurture inquiry-based thinking and spark a lasting curiosity about the world.
We continue working with the CPS method and the Destination Imagination program. Volunteers have the opportunity to learn an additional language—Spanish.
At this age, children also begin an intensive reading program using the simultaneous and sequential method, along with early math skills development. They engage in drawing, painting, and modeling, and participate in many preschool projects like European Language Day, Earth Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Family Days, and many more—traditions that continue year after year.
This group’s curriculum includes hands-on workshops in physics and chemistry—basically, experimenting with the world around them. Alongside early math, we use the Matplanet program to develop logical thinking through puzzles and riddles.
Children also attend literature, reading, and writing classes. Our 5-year-olds continue with swimming lessons, football, and ballet. Some are also preparing to start school as 6-year-olds.
Children build on the skills they’ve developed in previous years, showing strong progress in math, fine and gross motor skills, Polish language, and cognitive abilities. They explore basic programming and entrepreneurship, and lead independent ecological projects. Our goal is to ensure every child achieves full school readiness.

Baby City is a private bilingual kindergarten and nursery on the border of the Mokotów and Wilanów districts, where we are guided by care for children and the world they will live in. We raise the youngest so that they are not afraid of challenges, ask questions and are curious about the answers, and at the same time are simply good people.
