The Baby City Early Learning Framework

English Language Immersion
We offer full language immersion based on the One Language – One Teacher model.
Children are surrounded by the target language throughout the day, using it in real-life contexts such as play, routines and communication with teachers and peers. This allows language skills to develop naturally, alongside confidence and ease in communication.
We also offer the opportunity to introduce a third language – Spanish. Spanish is presented in an engaging and age-appropriate way, supporting linguistic curiosity
This approach allows language to develop alongside thinking, relationships and emotional security.

A Coherent Early Learning Program
The Baby City Early Learning Program™ offers a coherent and continuous learning pathway from nursery through preschool.
It supports children’s cognitive, emotional and social development through intentional, research-informed early education. Learning is carefully structured yet flexible, allowing children to progress naturally at their own pace.
The program provides consistency, clear developmental goals and meaningful experiences that build strong foundations for future learning.
It ensures continuity, balance and depth, supporting children as confident, curious and capable learners.

Learning Through Experience
Children learn best through direct experience, exploration and inquiry. At Baby City, learning is built through hands-on projects, investigation and purposeful play that encourage curiosity and problem-solving.
Experiences are carefully designed to stimulate thinking, creativity and engagement rather than memorisation.
Children are invited to ask questions, test ideas and make connections, developing deep understanding.
This approach supports intrinsic motivation and helps children become active, thoughtful learners who enjoy discovering how the world works.

Outdoor Spaces, Learning Environment and Enrichment Activities
Our learning environment is designed to support children’s well-being and balanced development. Bright, spacious and carefully arranged classrooms create a sense of order that fosters focus, calm and harmonious growth.
An 800 m² garden, gym spaces and sensory exploration rooms encourage daily physical activity and sensory development. The environment invites movement, exploration and discovery.
We offer a broad range of enrichment experiences — from sports and creative arts to cultural events and shared celebrations — supporting children’s physical, emotional and social development in meaningful ways.

Independence and Confidence
The program intentionally supports independence and confidence by encouraging choice, responsibility and initiative. Children are guided to make decisions, express opinions and take an active role in their learning.
Educators provide thoughtful support that allows children to build self-belief and resilience. Through daily experiences, children develop confidence in their abilities and readiness for new challenges.
This approach nurtures autonomy, motivation and a strong sense of competence, preparing children for the next stages of education.

OUR OWN ECOLOGICAL KITCHEN
At Baby City, healthy nutrition is more than a well-balanced menu — it is part of everyday life and learning. We believe that mindful food choices are an essential element of modern early education.
For this reason, we operate our own kitchen, where fresh, natural and well-balanced meals are prepared daily. Food is thoughtfully planned with children’s health, developmental needs and well-being in mind, supporting healthy habits from the earliest years.
We provide a range of dietary options, including lactose-free, gluten-free, elimination and vegetarian meals, tailored to individual needs.

Social and Emotional Development
Social and emotional development is an essential part of everyday learning at Baby City. Children build emotional awareness, empathy and self-regulation through strong relationships, respectful communication and shared experiences.
Educators intentionally support children in understanding emotions, managing challenges and cooperating with others. A safe, relationship-based environment fosters trust and belonging, allowing children to develop confidence and resilience.
These skills form the foundation for positive relationships, well-being and successful learning throughout life.

Partnership with Families
At Baby City, families are recognised as essential partners in the learning process.
We build close, respectful relationships with parents based on open communication and shared understanding.
Collaboration supports continuity between home and the early learning environment, strengthening each child’s development. Families are actively involved in the educational journey, creating trust and consistency. This partnership allows educators and parents to work together in supporting children’s well-being, learning and long-term development.

Summer at Baby City — Learning Through Adventure
During the summer months, Baby City becomes a space for exploration, creativity and shared discovery. Our holiday program is intentionally designed around weekly themes, allowing children to explore new ideas, cultures and environments through play, projects and hands-on experiences.
Each week introduces a new theme — from nature and science to art, culture and imaginative journeys. Children take part in creative workshops, outdoor exploration, local outings and experiential learning that encourages curiosity, engagement and meaningful learning.
